No one knows whether the hen came first or its egg. Where from we got the first seed of grain? We do not have a legitimate or logical answer to such questions from a scientist or atheist or believer. We can easily accept that some unknown, mysterious but powerful ‘Energy’ or ‘Power’ is running this cosmos and in English we name Him as “GOD”.
You would believe and feel surprised that in the whole of the world – educated or uneducated – Eastern or Western, generations and generations believe in so many superstitions even in this 21st century. It is not Indians alone, people of each and every country believe in superstitions. But, ASTROLOGY IS SCIENTIFIC AND IT DOES NOT SUPPORT SUPERSTITIONS. Let us not be superstitious.
Some people believe in omens – good or bad. But, omens do not have any established scientific standing or reasoning. Those are based on hypothetical fears or hear-say stories by oldies. Many are based on the anecdotes and stories or fairy-stories concocted by old generations.
And, that is a reason that Astrology, too, is treated as an art that makes a person superstitious. However, Astrology is being taught in many Universities in India and also abroad on their respective patterns. Thus, Astrology is a ‘Science’ and accepted as ‘Para-science’ which clearly indicates “reasons and effects” as other sciences proclaim.
The only difference in Indian and Western astrology is that Indian astrology is lunar based while western astrology is solar based. The Sun visits a zodiac sign for a month whereas the Moon visits a zodiac for 30 hours, 2 and a quarter of a day and it has the minutest effects on each person.
Who does not know Kero who made prophecies a century ago ! Now, even the scientists know the existence and motion of each planet and constellation and they agree that these planets etc, high above in the sky, affect the Earth and day-to-day life of her inhabitants.
Physics reveals the planets, their distance, speed, motion, combustion and retrogression etc. Every country believes the existence of planets. They have named their lords also in their own manner. Majority of population around the world believe astrology in one form or the other. The older kings and emperors had bards in their respective kingdoms who would assist them by predicting the future events in advance.

These planets and their lords as well affect the living persons, vegetation, places and things in the respective zodiac sings accordingly. These planets are inter-connected & coordinated and play inter-dependently like friends and also foes. The planets, one after the other, affect each and every person on the Earth since his birth till end. The pious planets do not give proper and due benefits if they occupy 6th, 8th and 12th houses of a horoscope whereas malefic planets (Saturn, Dragon’s Head-Rahu and Dragon’s Tail-Ketu) are beneficial there.

As per the specific year(s) of the planets given above, no one could prove that these planets did not affect him positively (beneficially) or negatively (causing any kind of losses etc), nor can one prove so. It is such a scientific established fact.
After 48th year, one is governed by the current planet’s running vimshottri dasa at that time. Its better thatyou attempt the remedies of that planet at that time, if required or even if not required, for better achievements and successes.
One should know that these planets effect negatively EVERY YEAR especially when they move on ‘indirect’ i.e. RETROGRADE, as per their fixed schedule:
- The Jupiter retrogrades for 120 days every year and is not much beneficial during these days.
- The Sun gets debilitated in Libra, generally from October 16/17 to November 15/16 every year, is thus malefic and does not give benefits.
- The Moon is zero beneficial on NO MOON day and when it is in Scorpio or in 8th House of the birth chart.
- The Venus retrogrades for 42 days in 19 months period of time and is not beneficial during those days.
- The Mars retrogrades for 80 days in two years and causes damages, losses and injuries during those days.
- The Saturn retrogrades for 140 days every year and causes great losses and problems during those days.
- The Mercury retrogrades 3 times every year – for a period of 24 days each time. It causes financial loss, cheating and business losses.
- Dragon’s Head (Rahu) and Dragon’s Tail (Ketu) ever remain retrograde. Until they are debilitate in Sagittarius and Gemini respectively, they remain silent mostly and act in their respective years or if their Vimshottri Dasa begins.
